This role will focus primarily on large corporate events and experiential marketing technology needs. Since one of the core duties of this role is to identify the needs of corporate clients, being knowledgeable of technology trends and researching those needs will be a primary responsibility. Proactive outreach to companies and educating them on TOURtech services will be required. This position will regularly contribute in the creation of marketing content specific to their market focus. Responsibilities include, working as a liaison with our lead techs to support the design, planning, and implementation of event networks, ensuring client needs are fully realized. Leveraging an established sales quoting process, this role will source opportunities and take them from the quoting phase through the contract phase.
The preferred location for this role is based in our Raleigh office, but other locations will be considered. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of corporate event sales or event marketing experience, with a representative network of contacts. Prior production or event sales experience is necessary. Candidates need to be detail oriented, possess excellent organizational skills, and can manage conflicting priorities in a high-pressure environment. Must effectively communicate in a highly professional manner. Knowledge of Wireless technology is a plus. Flexibility to travel on occasion is required.
